REFORMER PILATES PRINCIPLES

What is it like?
A steady-paced class, focused on mastering the foundation exercises of Pilates using the reformer.
With exercises that allow for modifications to suit a wide range of abilities. These sessions will focus on technique and progression to help you to move with confidence and enjoy improved body awareness, strength, coordination, mobility and flexibility.
REFORMER ATHLETICA PILATES

What is it like?
This class is designed to lift your heart rate with a focus on stronger, athletic and at times explosive movements, to develop strength and improve endurance.
Incorporating free weights, jumpboard and various small apparatus. Suitable for people with some reformer experience & those looking for a higher intensity class.
REFORMER FLOW

Who is it for?

What is it like?
A consistently-paced class focusing on breathwork, control, flexibility and mobility; using the reformer to create a series of flowing movement sequences. Perfect for unwinding, releasing tension, increasing flexibility, mobility and awareness.
REFORMER MATURE MOVERS

Who is it for?
Suitable for clients over the age of 60 with no major injuries, looking for a slower paced class specifically programmed with them in mind.

What is it like?
A slower-paced class, specifically programmed with our mature clients in mind. The class focuses on mastering the foundation exercises of Pilates using the reformer, with specific attention to improving balance, coordination, mobility, strength, body awareness, and movement confidence.
MATWORK FLOW

A Matwork Pilates session, that aims to improve flexibilty, mobility, release tension, support posture & aid alignment through a combination of static and dynamic stretches.
This class at times will utilise the Foam roller, along with other small props.

MATWORK STRONG

BARRE PILATES

What is it like?
Barre provides low-impact but higher intensity movements, designed to strengthen your body. No dance experience is necessary but be prepared to get a little sweaty.
YOGA MINDFUL YIN

What is it like?
A mindful yin yoga class features long-held, passive poses that target connective tissues, promoting deep stretching and relaxation. Typically quiet and meditative, the practice encourages mindfulness and inner calm, making it ideal for restoring flexibility and releasing tension.
YOGA YIN YANG

What is it like?
Yin Yang are opposing energies and combined together in a moderate flow can bring flexibility, balance and harmony to one’s practice. Yang is active, movement and strength while Yin is passive, for a deeper stretch and helps calm the nervous system. Yin Yang classes have movement with breath for strength and balance, as well as stillness to stretch and stimulate connective tissue. The practice encourages you to listen to your body when either moving or still, allowing you to calm your breath and mind.
STUDIO PRIVATE SESSION

A private session that utilizes the full suite of Pilates apparatus (Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda chair, Ladder barrel etc). These sessions have a clinical focus & are individualised; with a program & sessions specially tailored to the client’s own specific goals and needs.
STUDIO SEMI-PRIVATE GROUP SESSION (MAX 4 PEOPLE)

Recommended for clients that may have a pre-existing injury that requires extra attention. As well as clients who have a specific exercise goal. Suitable for pregnancy & post-natal.

What is it like?
A small group session that utilizes the full suite of Pilates apparatus (Cadillac, Reformer, Wunda chair, Ladder barrel etc). These sessions have a clinical focus and are individualised, with each client working through a program that is tailored to their own specific goals and needs.
REFORMER PREGNANCY & POST NATAL PILATES
From time-to-time we may run a scheduled pregnancy or post-natal specific program pending interest. However our 'Principles of Pilates' reformer classes are suitable & recommended for pregnant or post-natal clients. Specialty props are used to assist your comfort & safety. Exercises focus on foundation Pilates exercises, with a focus on core strength, body awareness and pelvic stability. Modifications will be specifically provided for you throughout sessions to ensure yours/baby's safety. For young/non-mobile babies, they can be safely held for many exercises or stay in pram, capsule or mat beside the reformer. Please ensure you have been cleared for exercise by your medical team.
